WELCOME TO AUGB Edinburgh branch

AUGB was founded in Edinburgh in 1946 and held its first AGM at St Mary’s Cathedral.

AUGB Edinburgh is a small but very active community, which continues to maintain Ukrainian values and traditions passed down from our parents and grandparents. Our Mission is to keep the spirit of Ukraine alive in Scotland.

Since the start of the illegal invasion by Russia into Ukraine on 24 February, AUGB Edinburgh has played a very important role in supporting displaced Ukrainian people to settle in Edinburgh and throughout Scotland. We have engaged proactively with local and national Governments and Third Sector partners to ensure that policy decisions fully support displaced Ukrainians.
