AUGB's General Council ("Rada SUB") held its second post-AGM meeting yesterday. 

Also in attendance was the AUGB's honorary President, Wasyl Oleskiw, who raised a number of issues, including:  integration of the new wave of Ukrainians, working with the Ukrainian World Congress, Holodomor, preparation of a History of the AUGB and graves of past AUGB presidents (with no family) requiring attention.

Other matters discussed in greater length included:

·         Restructuring, including changes to the AUGB's M&A and Branch rulebook.  (A circular will be sent out later this week to all Branches.)

·         Implementation of new system of accounting.

·         Sydenhurst.

·         Manchester hall build including fundraising.  The project is on course to be completed around the end of February.

The meeting, which was held at AUGB's Central Office in London, also considered issues relating to two AUGB Branches, Head Office matters, meetings with Ambassador V. Khandogiy, the potential visit to the UK of President Yanukovych, nominations committee, AUGB forum and the General Council being represented at forthcoming AUGB AGM's in the new year.
