Purpose of the association

The Memorandum and Articles of Association, is the legal document that sets out what AUGB Ltd was founded to do. The purposes are set out in detail, but include:

• To promote, support and protect the well-being and interests of Ukrainians in Great Britain
• To foster Ukrainian culture and traditions
• To publish books, periodicals and other material on matters that interest members
• To facilitate, promote and improve knowledge about Ukraine 
• To provide social facilities and cultural centres

In 2006, the Association adopted Mission, Vision and Values statements which set out, in a more accessible and contemporary way, what the Association is aiming to achieve and how it wants to work.
