EXHIBITION MARKING 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF UKRAINIAN REVOLUTION

This week saw the opening of an exhibition of archival photographs and documents to mark the 100th anniversary of the Ukrainian Revolution, 1917-21.

Organised by the Embassy of Ukraine to the UK and the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain (AUGB), speakers during the opening ceremony included the Ambassador of Ukraine - Natalia Galibarenko, AUGB Chairman - Petro Rewko, AUGB Deputy Chair - Iryna Terlecky, Project Initiator - Tetiana Ralduhina and Curator of the Shevchenko Library & Archive, Dr Ludmila Pekarska. Ukrainian artist Nina Semenenko recited extracts of two Taras Shevchenko poems.
